I was beginning to get cold feet at the idea of returning to Guémené alone, but old friends were there for the summer, working on the cottage they had bought in 2002.

B&CThey picked me up from the nearest airport at Lorient, and had me settled in at No.4 again right away.

 

awning The shopfront looked so much better with the mouldy edge of the awning cut off…..if only we could get into those side display cases, but the locks still refuse to co-operate with any key.

when all day the town reverberates to the sound of pipes and drums and dancing…..

Monahël lent me two easels to display some work …….and the shop attracted a lot of visitors too.
